// MY ROLE:
program manager for the entire series

// DETAILS:
The innovative Getting to Zero series was a portion of my program portfolio as Program Manager for the American Institute of Architects (AIA Seattle). My job was to make this program actualize and generate ticket sales for all AIA Seattle programming (at least half of the overall organization’s budgets). My responsibilities included working with AIA National for the approval of the program launch, planning and budget of this series, orchestrated a volunteer steering task force in creating the programming topics, case studies, and lineup for the 4 workshops. Oh, and all the logistics of making this events actually happen, including setting the creative direction and overall project management within my team to market and sell out the events. For the majority of “smaller” program portfolio, I used Smartsheet internally as the main tool to project manage and communicate within my team. For this taskforce, I utilized Asana.

The program material: delving into the next targets of the 2030 challenge: 70% reduction and beyond.
